Privacy policy

Last updated 22 October 2026

Your Skin Doctor Clinic ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information, including health information, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

We collect information you give us directly: your name, contact details, and the details of your enquiry. If you become a patient we also collect health information relevant to your care, including your medical history, skin history, medications and treatment records.

Why we collect it

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange a consultation
  • To assess whether a treatment is clinically suitable for you
  • To provide, plan and review your treatment
  • To meet our record-keeping obligations as a healthcare provider

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use this website, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors find us. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you visit, your approximate location, and your device and browser. Google may process this information outside Australia.

We do not send your name, contact details or booking details to Google Analytics, and the page that manages your booking is not tracked. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only where necessary for your care, where you have consented, or where we are required to by law. Enquiry emails are delivered through a third-party email provider.

When you book an appointment on this site, the name, email address, phone number and any note you enter are sent to us and recorded in the clinic's own appointment calendar, which is hosted by Google. A confirmation email is then sent to you through our email provider. Our own booking system stores only the appointment time and a reference code, and holds none of your personal details.

The booking form asks only for the contact details above. We do not collect information about your skin or your medical history at the point of booking, and you should not enter any. Anything clinical is discussed with us directly at your consultation and recorded in your clinical file, which is kept separately from the booking system.

To stop automated abuse of the booking form we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a real person is making the request. It sets no cookies and does not track you across websites.

Storage and security

Health records are held securely and retained for the period required under Queensland and Commonwealth law. We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

Accessing and correcting your information

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Contact and complaints

Write to us at yourskindoctorclinic@gmail.com or 641 Ipswich Rd, Annerley QLD 4103, or call 0490 879 299. If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
